Website Build

Rebuilding Together Saratoga. Rebuilt from the ground up.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga is a nonprofit that repairs homes and restores lives for low-income homeowners across Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties. Five Towers migrated their outdated Wix site to a full custom WordPress build — with new copy, SEO foundation, and a structure built to support donors, volunteers, contractors, and service applicants.

The Situation

Who they are, and why they came to us.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga is a local affiliate of the national Rebuilding Together network — a nonprofit that provides critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to low-income homeowners, keeping families safe, warm, and independent in the homes they love.

Their existing Wix site was outdated and no longer fit for purpose — it couldn’t support the multiple audiences the organization needs to reach, and it was holding them back from presenting a credible, professional face to donors and partners. Five Towers rebuilt it from scratch in WordPress.

The Challenge

A site that had run its course.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga’s existing site had outgrown what it could do. The design was dated, the structure wasn’t fully built around the organization’s multiple audiences, and the copy needed a full refresh.

  • Outdated design that didn’t reflect the scale, credibility, or community impact of the organization.
  • Multiple distinct audiences — service applicants, volunteers, donors, and contractors.
  • Copy that needed a full refresh to reflect current programs, partners, and the three-county service area.
  • Limited flexibility for updates and growth on the existing platform.

What We Did

The work, and the thinking behind it.

Five Towers rebuilt the Rebuilding Together Saratoga site from scratch in WordPress — new design, new copy, new structure, and a proper SEO foundation. The Wix site was retired and replaced with a platform built to grow with the organization.

Website Design & Build

A site structured around everyone who needs it.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga serves four very different audiences — homeowners applying for services, volunteers looking to get involved, contractors seeking RFPs, and donors wanting to give. We structured the site so each group has a clear, direct path from the homepage to the right action. Navigation, CTAs, and page content all reflect who the visitor is and what they came to do.

Copywriting

Mission-driven copy that moves people to act.

We wrote all site copy — homepage, about, services, volunteer, contractor, and contact pages. The voice is warm and community-forward, reflecting the organization’s tagline: Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Every page ends with a clear call to action tied to what that specific audience came to do — apply, volunteer, donate, or partner.

Before

A transformation you can see.

The contrast between the old Wix site and the new WordPress build is striking — a dated, generic template replaced by a purposeful, on-brand presence that reflects the full scope of what Rebuilding Together Saratoga does and who it serves.

SEO Foundation

Structured for search from day one.

On-page SEO was baked in at build — metadata, schema markup for the organization, semantic heading structure, and internal linking across service, volunteer, and donor pages. Moving to WordPress gave the organization a stronger technical foundation for search visibility across Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties.

What We Did

What changed after launch.

Rebuilding Together Saratoga launched with a site that finally reflects the scale and heart of the organization — professional enough to earn donor and partner confidence, and clear enough that every visitor knows exactly what to do next.

The site is maintained on a Five Towers hosting plan, keeping it fast, secure, and up to date as the organization’s programs and partnerships continue to grow. Post-launch, Five Towers also supported a donation platform migration — switching from GiveWP to a solution that integrates directly with Rebuilding Together Saratoga’s in-store POS system, streamlining how donations are tracked and managed across the organization.
