Redbud Inc. A website as refined as the spaces they build.
Redbud Inc. is a full-service landscape architecture and design-build firm serving the Capital Region for over 20 years. Their existing site was outdated and structurally misaligned with how their business actually works — Five Towers rebuilt it from the ground up.
Who they are, and why they came to us.
Redbud Inc. is a family-owned landscape architecture and design-build firm based in Wilton, NY.
Founded in 2004, they’ve spent over 20 years designing and building custom outdoor living spaces for residential clients across the Capital Region and beyond — from pools and patios to complex hardscaping, landscape lighting, and sustainable yard design.
When they came to Five Towers, they had an existing website but it was outdated and structurally misaligned with how their business actually operates. The site wasn’t organized around the way clients discover and evaluate a design-build firm — and it was difficult to maintain and update as the business grew.
The Challenge
A site that didn’t reflect the business.
Redbud’s existing site hadn’t kept pace with the business. It was outdated visually, difficult to maintain, and structurally built around a logic that didn’t match how clients actually find and evaluate a landscape design-build firm.
-
Outdated design that undersold the quality and craftsmanship of the work.
-
Poor site structure — content wasn’t organized around the customer journey or Redbud’s core service offerings.
-
Difficult to maintain and update internally, creating a backlog of outdated information.
-
Not effectively communicating the full scope of what Redbud does — from landscape design and construction management to sustainable design and complex permitting.
-
Complex content to organize — portfolio properties, case studies, and team bios all needed to coexist without overwhelming the visitor.
What We Did
The work, and the thinking behind it.
Five Towers rebuilt the Redbud site from scratch in WordPress — designed around how residential clients actually think about outdoor living projects, and structured to showcase the breadth and quality of Redbud’s work. Force Ten Marketing contributed site structure ideas, brand voice, and copy. Five Towers handled all design and development.
Built around the customer journey, not the org chart.
The previous site was organized around Redbud’s internal categories rather than how a homeowner thinks about a landscape project. We restructured the site around services, project types, and the design-build process — making it easy for a prospective client to understand what Redbud does, see proof of their work, and take the next step.
A site that reflects the quality of the work.
We designed and built a visually refined WordPress site that puts project photography front and center — because for a design-build firm, the work speaks louder than any headline. The design is clean and editorial, letting the outdoor spaces Redbud creates carry the page rather than competing with heavy UI elements.
Clear messaging for a complex service offering.
Redbud does a lot — landscape design, construction management, sustainable design, pools, patios, hardscaping, permitting, and more. Force Ten Marketing developed the copy and brand voice; Five Towers implemented it in a structure that lets visitors quickly understand what Redbud offers and how it all fits together without feeling overwhelmed.
Structured for search from launch day.
On-page SEO was baked in at build — metadata, schema markup for the organization and services, semantic heading structure, and internal linking across service and project pages. AEO considerations were built into the copy itself, with clear geographic signals and language that positions Redbud for local search results across the Capital Region landscape design market.
What We Did
What changed after launch.
Redbud launched with a site that finally matches the caliber of their work — organized, easy to navigate, and built to grow with the business.
The new structure gives them a clear path to add new project photography, update service pages, and maintain the site without relying on a developer for every change.
The site is now maintained on a Five Towers hosting plan, with ongoing updates handled by the team as Redbud’s project portfolio and service offerings evolve.
